Group Training

MEGT is a registered Group Training Organisation (GTO). We can recruit, employ and guide apprentices and trainees for your business, through our Group Training service.   

Recruit and Guide 

If you prefer to directly employ your apprentice or trainee, our Recruit and Guide service offer a robust recruitment process, followed by ongoing mentoring and employee development, including management of training plans and progression with the Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

If you need support finding the right people, our Recruitment service takes care of candidate selection, screening and testing, shortlisting and interviewing.  

Guide

If you prefer to directly employ your apprentice or trainee, our Guide service takes care of managing the training plans and progression with the Registered Training Organisation (RTO), along with ongoing mentoring and employee development.

 What sets us apart is a team with tried-and-true experience, that genuinely cares about success for apprentices, trainees and employers alike, and has a proven track record when it comes to apprentice and trainee completion rates. 

 MEGT is committed to safety. We complete workplace health and safety checks to ensure that your apprentice is working in a safe environment. Depending on their placement, we’ll also provide them with a PPE kit. 

 We also provide access to MEGT’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This is a free and confidential counselling service offered to support the well-being of your apprentice or trainee, both at work and home. 

Group Training Organisations, or GTOs, are businesses that support the apprenticeship and traineeship system in Australia.

A registered GTO like MEGT will employ the apprentice or trainee on your behalf, overseeing;

  • End-to-end recruitment
  • Payroll
  • Entitlements
  • Compliance
  • Sign-up management and progression
  • Employee relations
  • Mentoring and employee development

Businesses which engage MEGT apprentices or trainees need to provide: 

  • Day-to-day tasks and on-the-job training

You’ll also be responsible for: 

  • Releasing your apprentice or trainee during work hours to attend classroom training and assessment
