Mentor

Make every career journey a success.

Mentors at MEGT work closely with both apprentices and their host employers, helping the apprentice get qualified while supporting employers throughout their employment journey.

If you're passionate about people and eager to make an impact empowering apprentices and supporting employers, a career as a mentor could be for you.

Mentor MEGT

Why a mentor role could be right for you

A career as an MEGT mentor is a rewarding opportunity to guide apprentices toward success while supporting employers throughout the employment journey. As a mentor, you'll play a vital role in helping apprentices stay on track to qualification, providing guidance, encouragement, and practical advice. At the same time, you'll work closely with employers to ensure they have the tools and support needed to create a positive and productive workplace.

Mentors offer guidance on work and training challenges, as well as personal issues such as mental health, finances, and more. They also work closely with women in male-dominated trades, First Nations Australians, people with disabilities, and those living in remote areas.
